Oh, hi guys, let me see if I can get this right... I'm so confused right now, trying to figure out dA again after being gone for nine thousand years.

I just logged on after my months-long hiatus to find my inbox swimming with three billion journal entries, fifty million polls, twelve billion deviantwatch posts, and five dA comments. Okay, I'm exaggerating a little.

Before I begin, I have to warn you that I did a stupid thing and drank black tea -- I never drink anything besides water, so even the caffeine in the tea is enough to wire me up. I feel like I'm in five places at once, whoo!

Long story short, but I had to take a long workers comp break after I was diagnosed with cubital tunnel syndrome... Initially they thought it was carpal tunnel but the treatment wasn't working because it was in the wrong area... It was stupid -- I kept telling them exactly where I was having issues but it took a specialist to figure it out. two months of physical therapy, three weeks of acupuncture, a whole lot of tests and treatments including the EMG/NCV and cortisone injections, I'm doing pretty well now.

I was put on a strict schedule -- I could only type for a maximum of 6 hours per day, if even. I usually could last up to two hours. The rest of the time at work I was filling in at reception taking phone calls from angry people, and filing stuff, etc... I also ended up applying for a different job within the office that involved less typing. I got the job, but the new job doesn't offer paid holidays -- SIGH!

Today is a holiday for most everybody, but I am here in the office. Now that I can type decently without my hands going into shut down mode, I decided to venture onto dA to let you guys know that I'M NOT DEAD!

I'm not in top-form just yet... I still have issues -- scrolling is still impossible for me, and typing too much is still bothersome... But I should be back in a couple of months, at least! Hopefully with some artwork, or something. Can you believe I haven't been able to draw this whole time?? I thought I was going to go insane. (You don't realize how many times a day you use your hands until you are not allowed to do anything with them!)

Anyway, hope you guys are well. I missed you people! (You guys know who you are! ) I'm going to attempt to delete some stuff in my messages and maybe comment on some stuff but I shouldn't push it. Let me know if there is anything pressing or important or just amazingly fantastic that must be brought to my attention... Just comment here or link to me, or whatever.
